If the worker does not take their full Annual Leave entitlement, the University will pay in lieu of accrued but untaken holiday entitlement at the end of each assignment.

If a worker is planning to book annual leave, they should not sign up for additional shifts with the University during this holiday period. Annual leave should be a period of rest and relaxation and is crucial to ensuring health and safety at work. 

Holidays should be booked on a day that they would normally work and request hoursfor the normal working period. QWork will pay untaken leave on a quarterly basis:
